Prince Automotive Group Expands to Albany

On February 5, 2010, Prince Automotive Group announced it’s expansion to Albany. Prince will be located in the former Wallace Chevrolet building at 1001 S. Slappy Blvd. Albany, Georgia.

In addition to a full service and parts operation, Prince Chevrolet of Albany will sell new Chevrolet cars, trucks and sports utility vehicles and carry a complete line of pre-owned vehicles.

“We are thrilled that even during these difficult economic times, to have seized the opportunity to expand our operations to the Albany and Southwest Georgia area”, said John B. Prince III, President of Prince Automotive Group. “This expansion will enable us to provide even better services to our current and future customers by truly being South Georgia’s volume automobile dealership.”

Prince Automotive Group now has five locations in South Georgia, including Prince Chevrolet of Albany, Prince Automotive of Valdosta, Prince Honda, Prince Toyota, and Prince Chevrolet all of Tifton and Prince Ford-Mercury of Douglas.

With over 44 years in the Automobile business, Prince Automotive Group has garnered many awards, including the Georgia Family Business of the Year (2004) and the Time Magazine Quality Dealer Award.

The company is very active in the communities it represents by serving on the boards of numerous local organizations including the United Way and Chambers of Commerce. In addition to supporting both public and private education within the communities in which it serves, Prince Automotive Group is an avid supporter of Abraham Baldwin College and Valdosta State University and is a member of the University of Georgia President’s Club among its service to many other institutions.
