Ways To Maximize your Business Showcase Experience

  • Attitude is key. Be friendly and outgoing.

  • Set a goal for how many people you want to have met by the end of the evening.

  • Rehearse a 8-10 word description of your business. Make it sound both exciting and interesting.

  • Quickly acknowledge your friends and acquaintances, then set off after new contacts.

  • If someone sounds interested take their business card and promise to call the next business day.

  • Business Showcase is a time for brief chats, not an hour long sales call.

  • Encourage others in your business to attend with you to maximize your opportunities.

  • Wear a nametag with your first name, last name, and company name. This one simple action by itself can be a conversation starter.

  • Take plenty of business cards to distribute.
