Tift County State Court Judge Herby Benson addressed the February Monthly Membership Meeting about the local effort for a Recovery Community Organization to come to Tifton.

Joined by Nick Estabrook, the RCO Development Project Coordinator, Benson told the crowd that drug abuse is not only one of the leading causes of crime in our area but it also affects businesses in regard to hiring qualified employees and time lost at work. There are currently three RCOs in Georgia and Benson organized a symposium to be held in Tifton to discuss possibilities of starting such a facility here.
